Femi Fani-Kayode, a former minister of aviation, has asserted that the African Democratic Congress’s (ADC) presidential candidate may not be recognized by the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) for the upcoming election.

Fani-Kayode accused the ADC politicians of “granting meaningless interviews” and blowing “hot hair” in a lengthy tweet on Wednesday.

However, he cautioned them that if they didn’t “get their house in order,” they might endure the worst humiliation in Nigerian political history.

“They can blow as much hot air, enlist as many big names, engage in as many photo ops, appear on all the television stations for their shallow and meaningless interviews, and peddle as much fake news as they like, but judging from their internal wranglings and warring factions it is getting clearer by the day that the ADC may not even be able to field an INEC-recognized presidential candidate in the next election,” Fani-Kayode wrote.

“Those who insist on following that difficult route may find that supporting or joining ADC is eventually pointless.

“I urge them to put their affairs in order, put an end to their disagreements, and cease suing one another so that they can produce an INEC-recognized legitimate candidate that we can defeat in the 2027 presidential election.

If we don’t give them a good hiding on the battlefield, winning won’t be as enjoyable.

“In any case, they should get ready for the biggest humiliation in Nigerian political history and a tremendous fall.”

After being appointed as Nigeria’s ambassador to Germany, Femi Fani-Kayode has thanked Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In addition, Fani-Kayode thanked God and expressed gratitude to the president for what he called the honor of serving the nation in a diplomatic capacity.

He posted on X, saying, “I thank President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for this great honor that he has bestowed upon me, and I give God the glory for my posting as Nigeria’s Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany.”

I am genuinely humbled. I pray that God would lead, guide, and prepare me for this new task. He will also keep watch over, bless, and defend Nigeria, my dear country, forever.

He also said that the appointment humbled him and that, as he gets ready to embark on the new task, he prays for spiritual direction.

Additionally, Fani-Kayode prayed for Nigeria’s ongoing protection, blessings, and peace.
