<p>Epalle insisted that countries like Morocco, Nigeria, Egypt, and Cameroon will advance to the tournament’s last eight.<br />
Speaking to CAF TV, the 47-year-old also stated that Cameroon’s AFCON Round of 16 tie with South Africa will be one of the best matches in the knockout phase.</p>
<p>“There might be a few surprises, but given the matchups, logic will probably prevail, with Morocco, Egypt, Ivory Coast, and Nigeria advancing to the quarter-final,” Epalle said.<br />
“The South Africa versus Cameroon match deserves attention. South Africa coach Hugo Broos knows the Indomitable Lions well, having won the 2017 AFCON with them.</p>
<p>“Tactically, this could be one of the best matches of the AFCON Round of 16.”</p>
