2027: Lawmaker donates 25 vehicles, motorcycles to boost Kebbi APC mobilisation

The member representing Bagudo/Suru Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Bello Kaoje, has donated 25 vehicles and 250 motorcycles to strengthen the grassroots mobilisation and political structures of the All Progressives Congress in Kebbi State ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Kaoje said the donation was part of his personal commitment to strengthening the party’s grassroots structures, improving its operational capacity and advancing its political fortunes.

The lawmaker made this known during the commissioning of the vehicles and motorcycles by Kebbi State Governor, Nasir Idris, in the state on Saturday.

He said the intervention was intended to address logistical challenges facing the party and enhance its engagement with supporters across communities in the state.

Kaoje also commended Governor Idris for what he described as his administration’s impressive performance, urging residents and APC supporters to support the governor’s development agenda.

“Governor Idris has done a lot for the people of Kebbi State. He has continued to move the state towards greater development. We must therefore come together, support him and work towards the successful realisation of his vision,” he said.

The governor, while commissioning the vehicles and motorcycles, praised the lawmaker for the gesture, describing it as a significant contribution to the growth, unity and political strength of the APC.

He said the vehicles and motorcycles would improve the party’s mobilisation, publicity and engagement with supporters, particularly at the grassroots.

Idris urged party members to remain united and committed, warning them against distractions from opposition parties.

“Do not be distracted by the opposition, who have nothing tangible to offer the people. I urge you to remain committed to the APC, from the top to the bottom,” the governor said.

Former Kebbi State Governor and Senator representing Kebbi Central, Muhammadu Adamu Aliero, also commended Kaoje, describing the donation as a laudable initiative that would strengthen the party’s mobilisation capacity.

Aliero urged party leaders, stakeholders and supporters to close ranks and work together towards the party’s success.

Similarly, former governor and Nigeria’s Ambassador to Turkey, Saidu Usman Nasamu Dakingari, praised the lawmaker for the donation and called for sustained cooperation and mutual understanding among party leaders.

The APC State Chairman, Abubakar Kana-Zuru, said the donation would address some of the logistical challenges confronting the party’s mobilisation and campaign activities.

He described the gesture as a demonstration of Kaoje’s commitment to strengthening the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.
