A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Kenneth Okonkwo, says whatever Peter Obi, former Anambra state governor, does with his life is of no consequence.
Okonkwo made the statement on Thursday on Channels Television’s Politics Today.
On being asked his ultimate goal on Peter Obi, the Nollywood veteran turned politician said he wants to talk about contenders in 2027 and not pretenders.
“I have just been appointed the spokesman of Atiku Abubakar, so Obi is irrelevant in whatever he is doing in his life. Can we move on to more important things?
I want to talk about contenders in 2027, not pretenders. Can you bring down someone who is already down?
Atiku, the ADC’s presidential candidate for the 2027 general elections, on Thursday announced Okonkwo as his spokesman.
