Content creator Radiogad has alleged that Nigerian singer Davido sent him a direct message requesting the removal of videos in which he criticised the singer’s uncle over the situation in Nigeria.
Radiogad made the claim in a video, where he recounted his alleged interaction with the singer and vowed to continue speaking about issues affecting Nigerians.
The content creator said he had published two videos expressing dissatisfaction with conditions in the country and criticising Davido’s uncle. He alleged that Davido subsequently contacted him privately and asked him to take down the content.
According to Radiogad, he ignored the alleged message because he believed his criticism was driven by genuine concerns about Nigeria rather than political interests.
“Davido quickly entered my DM. He wanted me to bring down that video, but I did not reply him. I always stand for the truth,” he said.

Radiogad also claimed to have recorded the alleged message using his screen-recording feature, explaining that he wanted to preserve evidence of the exchange.
He said the recording would help address possible doubts about the authenticity of the alleged communication, particularly suggestions that it could be artificial intelligence-generated content.
The content creator further alleged that Davido unfollowed him on social media after he failed to respond to the purported request.
Despite the development, Radiogad insisted that he would not allow the reported action to discourage him from discussing national issues.
He maintained that his willingness to speak out would not depend on whether influential personalities followed him on social media.
“Whether you are following me or you are not following me, I will keep standing for the truth,” he stated.
Radiogad also questioned the state of affairs in Nigeria, referencing his decision to reside in the United Kingdom.
“If Nigeria good, wetin I dey do for UK? If Nigeria dey work, wetin I go do here?” he asked.
He concluded by insisting that his platform would remain available for criticism of public figures, regardless of their status or influence.
The allegations have not been independently confirmed, and the details of the reported private conversation remain based on Radiogad’s account.
