The Director-General of the Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO) Campaign Organisation, Oluwole Oke, has said that an All Progressives Congress (APC) government in Osun State would focus on human capital development, infrastructure renewal and agriculture if the party wins the August 15 governorship election.
Oke made the pledge on Tuesday when he addressed supporters at the APC governorship campaign rally in the Ede Federal Constituency.
He said an administration led by the party’s candidate, Bola Oyebamiji would not neglect key sectors such as education and healthcare in its drive for infrastructure development.
Since 2022, public schools and primary healthcare centers have degenerated across the state, which has affected the delivery of services to the residents, Oke said.
He urged the people to vote for the APC candidate, saying Oyebamiji was a competent leader with a strong educational background and urged the people to vote him as governor.
Priorities
Oyebamiji told the party faithfuls that he would ensure good governance, improve on the infrastructure, improve on the agriculture, create employment opportunities and come up with policies for the improvement of the residents.
He also urged eligible voters to collect their Permanent Voter Cards and participate in the election, saying that his administration would embark on inclusive development if voted for.
“We are expecting a huge vote from Ede, because we believe no part of Osun State is against development, which is what APC stands for. “We are confident that the people of Ede and other parts of the state will support our party on August 15, by our Prosperity Agenda,” he said.

Another APC chieftain, Dotun Babayemi, also appealed to the voters to vote for the party, saying an APC administration would deliver the dividends of good governance.
Tactical Voting
Adejare Bello, a former Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, has urged the people of Ede to vote wisely, adding that they should take the advice of the town’s traditional ruler, the Timi of Ede, not to “put all their eggs in one basket.”
Bello expressed the confidence that the voting pattern in Ede would be beyond expectation and charged the people to support the APC at the polls.
Employee Welfare
Meanwhile, at another APC rally in Ila, the party’s National Secretary, Ajibola Basiru, said an Oyebamiji-led APC administration would give priority to the welfare of civil servants, strengthen agriculture, and invest in education, healthcare and security.
Basiru said Oyebamiji possesses the experience and economic expertise to drive development in Osun State
“Reports say the states that received have increased tremendously and even the Osun State Government had acknowledged the improvement in allocations. That is why we are promoting AMBO.
“He understands governance and the economy and business and we believe he will utilize those resources to build a better future for our children.”
He said increased allocations to states gave an opportunity to improve public services and expressed confidence that an APC government would use the available resources to improve development of the state.
“Our civil servants deserve a better welfare because they are the engine of government. “AMBO will also help our farmers produce more and open up wider markets for their agricultural products, and thus bring greater financial rewards to them,” he added.
Basiru also promised to give more support to farmers to increase agricultural production and access to market, saying stronger agricultural sector would boost rural development and create jobs and boost the state’s economy.
