The Rector of Benue State Polytechnic, Ugbokolo, Arc. Dr. Henry Ojobo, attended the Idoma Day Celebration held in Abuja, joining prominent sons and daughters of Idoma land, traditional rulers, government officials and other dignitaries at the annual cultural event.
The celebration brought together members of the Idoma community from across the country to showcase their rich cultural heritage, promote unity and celebrate the values that define the ethnic group.
Dr. Ojobo’s participation underscored the institution’s commitment to promoting cultural identity, strengthening ties with host communities and supporting initiatives that encourage peace, unity and sustainable development.
The event featured cultural displays, traditional performances and interactions among stakeholders, highlighting the importance of preserving the customs and traditions of the Idoma people while fostering community development.
Benue State Polytechnic, Ugbokolo, reaffirmed its commitment to working with government institutions, traditional authorities and other stakeholders to advance education, cultural preservation and socio-economic development in Benue State and beyond.
