OKANGA SHRUGS OFF CRITICS, EXPANDS SOLAR LIGHT PROJECTS AS AMEJO WARD RECEIVES NEW INSTALLATIONS

The Deputy Spokesman of the 10th House of Representatives and member representing Enone Federal Constituency, Hon. Chief Dr. Bishop Philip Agbese, popularly known as Okanga, has continued to demonstrate his commitment to grassroots development by extending his solar-powered street light project to Amejo Ward in Okpokwu Local Government Area.

The latest distribution is part of his ongoing effort to provide alternative sources of electricity to communities across Ado, Okpokwu, and Ogbadibo Local Government Areas, despite criticisms from political opponents.

The Solar Lights Committee of Amejo Ward officially received the consignment on behalf of the community, expressing appreciation for what they described as another impactful intervention by the federal lawmaker.

Speaking during the reception, the Chairman of the Solar Lights Committee, Hon. Alex Abah, commended Hon. Agbese for his unwavering dedication to community development. He stated that the lawmaker’s performance had exposed the shortcomings of previous representatives, noting that many residents were unaware of the opportunities and benefits available through effective representation until Hon. Agbese assumed office.

According to him, the projects attracted to the constituency have changed the people’s perception of governance and restored their confidence in democratic representation. He assured the lawmaker of the community’s continued support, expressing confidence that all polling units in Amejo Ward would overwhelmingly vote for him in the next general election.

Also speaking, the Okanga Coordinator for Amejo Ward and the President of the Okanga Sisters, on behalf of the people, expressed profound gratitude to Hon. Agbese for his consistent delivery of people-oriented projects across Enone Federal Constituency.

They praised his visionary leadership, responsiveness to the needs of the people, and commitment to fulfilling his campaign promises. They maintained that his impressive record in office had earned him the goodwill of the electorate and predicted that his re-election would be based on his outstanding performance.
